We had so much fun with Khrystyna and Niko during their engagement session! For us, engagement sessions are always the point in the journey where we get a much clearer picture of who we're photographing. Just as importantly, it's often when couples really get a feel for who we are and what it's like to work with us. That was definitely the case here, and we loved how quickly Khrystyna and Niko settled in and became comfortable in front of our cameras.
Originally, we had planned this session around the cherry blossoms at Branch Brook Park. Thanks to an early bloom this year, it seemed like we had completely missed the season. But somehow, we got lucky and found a single cherry blossom tree still showing off its color, and took full advantage of it.
And then there was the light 😍. Absolutely incredible. Between the beautiful spring atmosphere, the connection these two share, and some of our favorite light, this session was so much fun to photograph.
If this is any indication of what's to come, their wedding day is going to be amazing. We can't wait!
