We’re back at one of our favorite places… the NYPL.

When we first met with Jennifer and Jordan, we asked the question we always ask, “Have you thought about where you’d want to do your session?” Before we could even finish the sentence, Jenn’s eyes lit up. The New York Public Library. No hesitation. We love when a couple knows exactly what feels like them. Like every couple, they needed a few minutes at the start just to settle in and feel comfortable. And then came the laughter, the way they looked at each other with real smiles instead of camera smiles; all the little things that make these photos true to who they are. It was so much fun for us to see that little transition of them trusting us enough to be themselves in front of our cameras.

The snow we thought might complicate things ended up giving us something unexpected. A quieter NYPL. More space. More calm. More opportunities, and what stood out most was their connection. The kind that feels steady and easy. The kind that makes our job simple. Two people completely crazy about each other in one of the most beautiful rooms in the city. We already know their wedding day is going to be something special. And we can’t wait to be there with them again!
